There are very few songs that deserve the term “epic” in my mind but this is absolutely one of them. Not just “epic” in a “that’s really cool” sort of way, but “epic” in the sense that it’s about something big. Something of great weight and importance. It’s haunting and lovely and unlike just about any other song I can think of.
